Dr. Sushma Harish has completed her MBBS from Mysore Medical College, where she was awarded as Best Outgoing Student. Being a general merit student she secured a top rank in All India PG entrance exam, through which she completed her DGO from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute.

Being eager to learn more, she completed her MS from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Bangalore, with a gold medal, adding an extra feather on her cap. Dr. Sushma Harish is a constant learner and updates herself with what is new in women's health: new diseases, latest technologies available to treat the patients, new surgical skills, how to uproot health issues of women for good etc. Doctor has also published articles in many national and international journals and has attended many national and international conferences to upgrade her knowledge in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

During her post-graduation, she has handled many high-risk cases like severe pre-eclampsia, eclampsia (pregnancy associated with hypertension and convulsions), gestational diabetes, HELLP syndrome, Abruptio placenta and she has done more than 500 normal deliveries and more than 200 cesarean deliveries during her post-graduation period. Also she has handled many hysterectomy and complicated cases. Maybe these are the reasons why other gynecologists refer high risk cases to Dr. Sushma Harish.
